Brief
ECO HOME building project competition is a unique initiative of
International youth society of eco-friendly and renewable technology in
association with Great Lakes Institute of Management. It aims to bring
ideas related to eco-friendly models, Hi-Tech Building designs, models
and energy saving housing equipment. In the current scenario, building
consumes major part of Energy. In the future era of smarter housing, how
we can bring out some change to reduce carbon emissions and energy
consumption.
What you need to do?
Bring out any idea that you think would be a step towards reducing
energy consumption in the buildings. From as simple as replacing
conventional systems by renewable energy systems to using more efficient
systems. We keep our canvas open for you to paint your wildest dreams
and thoughts. Things which may look weird to the world today may be a
reality tomorrow.
We do believe in history repeating itself. So bring out the weirdest,
wildest, daring, challenging and innovative green ideas for smarter, Eco
– friendly buildings of tomorrow.

Rules
- There is no registration fee
- Last date for online registration and summary submission is 20th February 2014 11.59 P.M
- Date of event is 21st February 2014 and event will be held at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon
- The summary of your idea should be sent to iysertindia@gmail.com
- Summary should include problem description, main idea, why your idea is cost effective and scalable, impacts and results after implementation.
- The summary of your idea should not exceed more than 2 pages.
- Shortlisted teams will present their ideas at CREST, which will held at Great Lakes, Gurgaon
- The final presentation should not exceed more than 8 minutes (8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for question and answers)
Prizes
- WINNERS will be awarded and certified by IYSERT
- IYSERT is heading a new venture "ECO HOMES" a consultant group. Winner project will be updated on the IYSERT venture for implementing their ideas with Builders
- Live internship of 2-3 months
- ‘Best idea in terms of analysis’ will be given an opportunity to work on a live project with London School of Economics – Energy Society.
