Engaging Youth As Agents Of Change

Thanks for the continuous update and apologies for not being able to revert earlier.
We will be attending the SIDS event as the themes being discussed are similar to our Climate Change event tentatively scheduled for the 3rd Quarter of this year.

The ongoing discussions will be of interest to us though we may not be able to participate directly due to a busy schedule but will try out best to contribute .

In the meantime we would also like to inform you that World Youth Foundation will be hosting a Multi-stakeholders Meeting: Violence Against Women "Engaging Youth As Agents Of Change" tentatively scheduled to be held from 21st - 23rd June 2014 at Melaka, Malaysia.

Participation to the event is by invitation only and limited to a maximum of 30 delegates only. There is no registration fee charged. Airport transfer for pick-up/departure (by flight-foreign participants only), accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch and tea breaks) will be provided by the sponsors of this event. Participants will have to bear their own travel expenses. Please note that we are not able to support any request for financial assistance either in full or part due to limited funds. The event is open to young people between the ages 18-32 years, youth leaders and workers between the ages 33-40 years, NGOs, youth ministries, international NGOs, regional platforms, multilateral organization, etc (preferably between the ages 18-55).

Only 5 places are left and those interested kindly drop us an email at wyf@po.jaring.my / wrldyth@gmail.com latest by 4th April 2014 (Friday) expressing your intention to participate by sending a 1 page Bio-data with information of the organization you are representing. Once we have received your expression of interest and if you are selected we will send to you the Registration Form and Programme Agenda.
