Save the Children in Tanzania is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and result oriented leader with a strong commitment to promotion of children's rights to take the above mentioned position based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Director of Programme Development and Quality is a member of Senior Management Team for Tanzania Country Office and will be responsible for contributing to the development of high quality, participatory programmes for children as well as monitoring the quality of interventions. The post holder will also be responsible for the documentation of results and networking for purposes of learning and information exchange and oversees technical support to programmes, accountability and learning, fundraising and donor liaison.

Qualifications and experiences
Minimum of 5 years senior management experience in a corporate or an NGO environment, including experience directing and implementing programs for children In both development and emergency contexts, preferably with solid experience in more than one of the Save the Children priority thematic sectors: education, child protection, child rights governance, H/V/A/Ds, health and nutrition, and emergencies. Recognized leadership role in relevant technical areas at both field and country level With Masters degree in a Social Sciences field, or in an complementary area of social development.
S/he must be committed to and understanding of Save the Children's aims, values and principles including' rights-based approaches as well as experience in promoting the principles and practice of child participation and accountability
